The Adecco candidate app for IOS and Andriod
An exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's largest recruiters. The brief was to create a mobile app for Adecco candidates to easily find jobs, log hours, access payslips and mark availability for work. The project began with design workshops with the clients to understand their requirements and to explore concepts and useful features that would empower the user.
Working closely with the UX team, we created full user journeys in InVision and began user testing with candidates from a variety of locations and employment backgrounds to help shape the overall experience.
It was important that the visual designs adhere to the Adecco brand guidelines, we worked closely with their brand team to ensure synergy at all Adecco touch points. We explored the use of colour, pattern and typographic scales to create visually striking pages that also conformed with accessibility AA standards.
Through the use of subtle animations and screen transitions we were able bring the experience to life. These were prototyped in Principle and exported as Lottie Json Animations to the development team.
Alongside the visuals of the mobile app screens, detailed guidelines were also created to aid the development of the application (for both IOS and Android).
